The Crowne Plaza Quaker Square Hotel invites you to explore its
uniqueness. From the registration desk you pass thru most intriguing
concave wall ornamentation depicting railroading, the old Quaker Oats
Mill, and caricatured Akron dignitaries on your way to the elevators.
When you step out on your floor, you pass thru the concave interiors of
other refurbished silos until reaching your assigned room. Entering it, you
begin to appreciate its unique round interior with very comfortable
furnishings. It’s fun to stay for the first time in a round guest room.
For the most part, you’ll just be sleeping here. Each convention day is
filled with maple and sightseeing activities.
Then there’s the enormous exhibit hall: 17,000 sq. ft. of carpeted floor
space waiting to showcase the largest maple equipment and supplies
show ever the central region of the maple belt. To see the major brands
of evaporators virtually side by side allows you to appreciate the
variations in design and operation. Ample time will be given for you to
thoroughly investigate all the display materials.
While you may not be ready to replace your present equipment, you might
see simple changes you can make to improve your operation. The trade
exhibits also provide a perfect opportunity to discuss maple-syrup-making
with friendly and helpful folks you meet from other states and provinces.
Then too, the latest in product containers displayed provides additional
ideas on how to market your syrup optimally. thoices of labels and
product tags also can improve sales. Then there will be other vendors
there to display and offer for sale their products.
Overall, this’ll be a maple meeting + mini-vacation you definitely won’t
want to miss! We expect a “full house;” so place your reservation soon
by phoning 1-330-253-5970 Remember, the “maple wizards’ give Maple
