The Wisconsin Maple Syrup Producers Association, along with Jorns Sugar Bush (Donna and Roland Jorns), are hosting the Annual First Tree Tapping beginning at 10 A.M., with Alice in Dairyland ( Christine Lindner) and our Wisconsin Maple Queen (Allison Bauer) participating.

The proclamation sent by the Governor will be read proclaiming Maple Month as March 15 - April 15, 2011 in Wisconsin. There may be some Wisconsin dignitaries present, but at the time of this notice, we are not sure who. President of the WMSPA, Fred Hedmark, will be present to greet guests and let everyone know what the WMSPA is and does.
Alice and our maple queen will take turns tapping a tree for the kickoff of Maple Month. They will both also give a small presentation for you.

A pancake and French toast brunch can also be enjoyed by those who would like to go to the White Gull Inn, Fish Creek. The price for this will be up to each individual.
